Experience Opera
Experience Opera invites student groups to attend the final dress rehearsal of selected mainstage operas. Eligible groups include high schools, middle schools, homeschool student groups of 10 or more, and community youth organizations. Passes include a pre-performance talk in the Nesholm Family Lecture Hall and access to a study guide.
Passes are $15 per person. Free for Title 1 Schools. A free chaperone pass is included with the purchase of every 10 student passes.

Jubilee School Day Matinee
In addition to a student dress rehearsal for the world premiere of Jubilee this fall, we invite student groups to attend the School Day Matinee on Tuesday, October 22 at 10:30 AM. Tickets are $20 each for school students and homeschool groups. Discounted tickets and bus funding are available to Title 1 schools.

2024/2025 Experience Opera Performances
Jubilee

Not long after Emancipation and the end of the Civil War, the historic Fisk Jubilee Singers came together and changed music forever. Telling the story of the ensemble's early members, this opera—which includes over 40 African-American spirituals—follows them on their first tours, raising funds for the fledgling Fisk University and spreading their music around the world.

Les Troyens in Concert
Wednesday, January 15 at 7:00 PM
Join us for an abridged version of Berlioz's epic in a concert version featuring full orchestra and chorus. Les Troyens à Carthage (Acts 3, 4, & 5) begins after the fall of Troy as Aeneas arrives at Carthage with tales of the Trojan War.
Please note: The final dress rehearsal for Les Troyens in Concert is on Wednesday instead of Thursday.
