Throughout the run of Jubilee, Seattle Opera is hosting a hygiene supply drive to collect cleaning supplies for residents of Jubilee Women’s Center on Capitol Hill. When women move into Jubilee housing and out of homelessness, Jubilee Women’s Center provides a care package ready to welcome them in and make them more comfortable. The care package consists of the items requested below. Each woman Jubilee houses also has a designated refrigerator, freezer, and pantry space where they can keep their own food.
Bring your donations when you see any of Seattle Opera’s performances of Jubilee, October 12–26. You will see a bin in the lobby of McCaw Hall where you can leave your donation.
Thank you so much for your support of our local community!
