OPERA CAMPS

Does your child love to perform? Then opera camp is the perfect fit for them! Our campers will have the opportunity to create original opera stories, learn songs from actual operas, and put it all together into their very own opera performance all while learning more about the art form of opera. Plus, they’ll have the chance to sing and play with other creative kids their own age!

This July, youth participants will get to sing, act, and perform while learning all about the art of opera!

For ages 7–13, our campers will have the opportunity to create original opera stories, learn songs from actual operas, and put it all together into their very own opera performance to be presented for friends and family at the end of the week.

For teen performers, we’re offering a weeklong vocal intensive in which participants will receive individual voice lessons and learn scenes and songs from the vast classical repertoire. No prior musical or theatrical experience is necessary.

As part of our commitment to equity, Seattle Opera is dedicated to providing programs that are accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of financial standing. Fees for our programs are offered on a voluntary sliding scale, and we ask that each family choose the level that best fits their ability to pay. All participants receive the same instruction regardless of payment level. If none of these options work for you, please contact us to request financial assistance.
