OPERA TIME for Schools
Perfect for Pre-K through 2nd Grade.
This 45-minute musical storytelling program combines singing, read-aloud story time, movement, and story/character exploration using one of the book options listed below. Delivered in person or via Zoom by a teaching artist, Opera Time fosters literacy in and through the arts. This program aligns closely with Common Core Standards in English Language Arts, and gives students skills in broadening and contextualizing vocabulary, identifying character and motive, and selecting words that supply richness and meaning. Opera Time sessions are also great offerings for libraries, daycares, and community spaces!
