The 60th Anniversary Concert & Gala was an unforgettable celebration of wonderful memories and dreaming of the next 60 years. It was beautiful to share community with fellow arts lovers. You took it to the next level and blew us away with your spirit and your generosity!

Together, with your enthusiastic support, we raised 2.8 million dollars for Seattle Opera! Thanks to all of our guests for joining us and showing support with your ticket purchases and donations; to our generous sponsors; and a very special thank you to our incredibly supportive board of directors. Each and every one of you made this possible!

This is a testament to our patrons’ generosity, loving support, and commitment to advancing opera in today’s world. Funds raised will support opera everywhere we go, from performances at McCaw Hall and the Opera Center to Seattle Opera’s programs in communities and schools around the Puget Sound.

Thank you for joining us for the 60th Anniversary Concert and Gala and making this incredible achievement possible. We offer you our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude.

  • 1oz carrot juice
  • 0.5oz lime juice
  • 0.5oz ginger simple syrup

Shaken (just stirred when batched)
Served in a coup with a dried lime wheel as garnish

Aria

  • 1.5oz bourbon
  • 0.25oz triple sec
  • 0.5oz lemon juice
  • 0.5oz hibiscus simple syrup

Poured over ice
Served in a rocks glass with a rosemary sprig (or edible flower) garnish

Recitative (mocktail)

The two-hour concert will feature fan favorites from our history as well as the Seattle Opera Chorus and members of Seattle Symphony. With a line up of show-stopping selections including the Mad Scene from Lucia di Lammermore, the iconic “Va, pensiero” from Nabucco, “Habanera” from Carmen, and beloved selections from The Pearl Fishers, Die Walküre, Tannhäuser, and more, this incredible lineup of artists is sure to bring a once-in-a-lifetime performance to commemorate our 60 years.
