Curious what it takes to become an opera singer? Come to a panel discussion between Seattle Opera’s new Resident Artists baritone Michael J. Hawk and soprano Camille Ortiz, as well as local mezzo-soprano Myah Rose Paden and a member of our Teen Vocal Studio, Carrie Huang, as they discuss the education and development of an opera singer. Learn about the early training, necessary education, and career pathways that singers must embark on to become professional opera performers. Enjoy a special performance by each singer.
