charming and impressive…his show is unlike anything I’ve seen.”

The Drunken Tenor is back! After sold out performances in 2021, A Very Drunken Christmas Carol returns to Seattle Opera this December. See what new shenanigans occur in this retelling of Charles Dickens’ time-honored holiday classic where, in true Drunken Tenor comedy opera fashion, things get turned upside down. While preparing for a holiday concert, The Drunken Tenor gets hit in the head, knocked out, and wakes up in an alternate reality. He embarks on a journey to understand how he became the person he is and the possible consequences of his choices. Along the way, he is joined by duet partners of the past, present, and future for a mix of opera, holiday favorites, and much more.

EVENTS

Throughout the run of A Very Drunken Christmas Carol, we will be collecting food & household supply donations in the lobby in partnership with the Refugee Women's Alliance (ReWA) to support local Afghan refugee families.
