After two seasons of sellout shows, The Drunken Tenor, Rob McPherson, returns to Tagney Jones Hall this December for another celebration of opera, holiday hits, and hilarity. Seen it before? Think again. Joined by duet partners from the past, present, and future, The Drunken Tenor’s bringing a flask of fresh, fermented fun brewed in his cask of comedy opera.

David McDade first worked with Seattle Opera in 1995, accompanying rehearsals of Rigoletto and the Ring, and joined the staff full-time in 2002. As Head of Coach-Accompanists and Assistant Chorus Master he plays for rehearsals and auditions, and is sometimes heard on celesta or piano in the pit with the orchestra. He regularly accompanies the local rounds of the Laffont Competition and is often heard in recital with Seattle Opera artists. McDade has been a vocalist, a French horn player, and a conductor.
