Watching on your TV

Watching performances on your TV

We are excited to offer a variety of digital content available to our patrons online.  It's definitely OK to watch any of our performances on your computer or tablet - many of these devices have excellent sound and picture. However, there are several ways you can watch these performances on your TV if you would prefer.  We have outlined a few different ways to do so. While we have tried to be as comprehensive as possible with our instructions, there are many, many variables with television technology today and we can't guarantee that these instructions will work in every combination. Thank you for your understanding.

Our instructions may require you to log into your Seattle Opera My Account page to access your videos. You will need to have an internet connection and a smart TV or streaming device attached to your TV (Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV, etc.).

subscriber access

Seattle Opera subscribers receive a special email link for each opera or you can log in to your My Account and follow the link there. You have two options to watch on your TV. The first is to cast from your device via the YouTube app or website to your Smart TV. The second is to "like" a video in your YouTube account and access it via your Smart TV.
