How it works
1) Purchase your Flex Pass for $400 and receive 4 credits.
2) When you have found something you would like to attend, fill out our online form, call Audience Services, or show up in person to redeem your Flex Pass credits. One credit equals one ticket to any eligible performance, event,or class.
3) Attend your event or performance and enjoy! That's all there is to it.

How do I redeem my Flex Pass credits?
Simply fill out this form and your credits will be redeemed for tickets in 1–2 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email once your credit request has been processed. Your digital tickets will be available by logging in to tickets.seattleopera.org using the email address associated with your Seattle Opera account. You can also view your tickets by logging in to My Account. Present the tickets on your smartphone to scan at your performance.

When can I start redeeming my Flex Pass credits?
Once you have completed the purchase of your Flex Pass, you can start redeeming credits for any performance that is currently on sale for single ticket purchases. If an opera or performance is only available through a subscription package, you will need to wait until it goes on sale to the public to redeem your credit(s) for that performance.
Can I select my own seat when I redeem?
Exact seating at the time of redemption is at the discretion of the ticket office. If you are redeeming for a McCaw Hall performance, you will be able to give a first and second choice of seating level. For Tagney Jones Hall performances, seating is assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Certain restrictions apply in select seating zones. Flex Pass credits may not be redeemed for seats in Dress Circle Prime, Orchestra Prime, Orchestra Aisle, or Box seating areas.
When will I get my tickets?

What if my plans change after I redeem?
No problem! Flex Pass buyers receive flexible exchanges. If you redeem a credit and then later need to exchange into a different performance, just let us know by email or phone. We'll send you new tickets (subject to availability) with no exchange fee.
What can I use my credits for at Seattle Opera?
Your Flex Pass can be used for a variety of performances! You can redeem for any performance date of productions at McCaw Hall, or redeem for most performances, events, or classes at the Opera Center (Artist Recitals, Youth Opera, classes, etc.). If you would like to use your credits for another event such as an opera class, contact Audience Services or check the event page to see how many credits are needed for redemption.
I only have enough credits left for one ticket, but I want to bring a friend to the next opera. Help!
No problem! You have two options:
- Reload your Flex Pass with 4 more credits. Credits bought as a Flex Pass refill expire one year from the date of refill, regardless of when the pass was originally purchased, so you can bring your friend to the next show AND enjoy another whole year of great opera!
- Call us at 206.389.7676 to redeem your remaining credit and purchase an additional ticket with your 10% off discount. We'll seat you together.
I need an opera fix now! Can I redeem Flex Pass credits for same-day tickets?
Yes! Come to the McCaw Hall box office starting two hours before the performance. We'll redeem it in person and hand you tickets on the spot. Keep in mind that all Flex Pass redemptions are subject to availability, so it's possible that tickets in your eligible seating areas could be sold out. The earlier you can arrive, the better your chances. You can also redeem the day of over the phone at 206.389.7676.
What's the fine print?
- Flex Pass credits are valid for one year after the date of purchase.
- Seating assignments are at the discretion of Audience Services and are the best available seats that are comparable to the dollar value of the credits. Credits are not valid for use in select seating sections in McCaw Hall including Dress Circle Prime, Orchestra Prime, and Orchestra Aisle.
- All Flex Pass redemptions are subject to availability. Submitting this form does not guarantee a seat for the selected performance.
- I understand that by submitting my request, my credit(s) will become Void.
- All ticket orders from the online form are delivered using our digital ticket wallet at tickets.seattleopera.org.
- Online credit redemptions must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the performance. If it is less than 24 hours before the performance you will need to call Audience Services or visit the Box Office before your desired performance to redeem in person.
- Pre-paid parking is available until 3 days before your performance.
- Flex Pass credits may not be used to purchase pre-paid parking.
